Nastel Delivers Next-Generation AutoPilot M6 Suite for SOA Environments

Ensuring the performance of complex applications

"We work with some of the world's largest banks, financial services, retail chains and insurance companies. IT managers in these companies have to comply with stringent service level agreements (SLAs) and government-mandated regulations and reporting requirements," commented Albert Mavashev, chief technology officer for Nastel, which has released its next generation of software products - The AutoPilot M6 Suite and the AutoPilot M6 for WMQ solution package. “We developed AutoPilot M6 to give them the most flexible, powerful mechanisms to ensure the performance of the complex applications that drive their business by quickly finding and fixing problems so they can meet their SLA and regulatory compliance requirements,” Mavashev continued.

AutoPilot M6 includes advanced, virtualized Complex Event Processing (CEP) capabilities, integrated Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) support, integration with industry standard security management systems including LDAP and Kerberos,. The AutoPilot M6 CEP enables high speed, high volume, time- based rules processing ensuring high availability and peak performance for complex business-critical applications in both traditional integrated and service-oriented architecture (SOA) environments.

The CEP engine that forms the core of AutoPilot M6 combines real-time rules engine processing with unique time-based trend recognition and predictive problem prevention capabilities. In addition, AutoPilot for M6 can collect, aggregate, filter and correlate metrics and events from infrastructure systems with data from external sources such as RSS and news feeds and even email messages, which enables sophisticated transaction processing applications such as algorithmic trading for banks and brokerage firms.

AutoPilot M6 for WMQ collects, synthesizes and feeds operational and performance metrics from IBM WMQ into the AutoPilot M6 engine and affords complete end-to-end control of WMQ from a single powerful console. Together, AutoPilot M6 and AutoPilot M6 for WMQ offer extensive visibility into application health and the root cause of performance problems that lets IT shops find and fix problems fast, before they impact business operations.
