TIBCO Kicks Off Transform 2014 Asia Pacific Tour in Seoul

By Transforming Big Data Into Fast Data, Organizations Can Increase Revenue and Improve Customer Experience

PALO ALTO, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 07/09/14 -- TIBCO Software Inc. (NASDAQ: TIBX), a global leader in infrastructure and business intelligence software, announced that the company's annual Transform Asia Pacific 2014 user conference kicks off in Seoul, South Korea on July 10, with stops in Singapore on July 15 and Sydney, Australia on July 17.

At Transform 2014, attendees will discover how to transform Big Data into Fast Data. While Big Data provides insight about what has happened, Fast Data combines this insight with real-time information to provide immediate awareness and enable instant action. After discussing the value of Fast Data, TIBCO thought leaders and customers will present the components required in a Fast Data architecture:

  • Integration:
Organizations have access to more data than ever before, and increasingly, much of it is outside the corporate firewall. TIBCO integrates data, people, processes and systems to create streamlined operations and improved insight.
  • Analytics:
Organizations can generate insight from their data, but they need the proper context to make the right decision. This requires providing the right data to the right person in the right type of visualization. From the C-suite to data scientists, analytics empower users to make good business decisions... fast.
  • Event Processing:
Event processing uses the insights extracted from analytics to identify patterns representing threats or opportunities in the real-time data provided by integration. This real-time awareness allows organizations to transform decisions into instant action, and Big Data into Fast Data.

"Fast Data allows organizations to seize the value from its most important asset -- data -- when this information is most relevant," said Thomas Been, senior director, product marketing, TIBCO. "And this information is at its peak worth when the organization can act on the data within the business's window of opportunity."

When/What: Transform 2014 - Seoul: Thursday, July 10; Singapore: Tuesday, July 15; Sydney: Thursday, July 17.
